Alice has always been one of my favorite children’s books, and it was actually the very first book I ever read in English, which makes this story feel especially close to my heart.
For a long time, I felt like I had to come up with something truly extraordinary for an alternative Alice cover, but this time I decided to let go of the pressure and simply create my own version of her - a slightly clumsy little girl, exploring a strange world full of oddities and wonders. Maybe one day I’ll return to Alice with more unusual reimagining, but for now I’m quite happy I finally made this one
And of course, I couldn’t resist emerging Alice in a nighttime scene, so she meets the Live Flowers in a moonlit garden.
